PHILOSOPHY

We believe that fitness is so much more than just burning calories and looking good. Fitness is necessary for both emotional and physical stamina, and for general health and wellbeing. It is all about feeling great on the inside as much as the outside. Being active and working up a sweat is as important for your mind and soul as it is for your body. Leading an active life helps with cognitive function, sleep quality and lowers risks of mental health problems. It also decreases risks for almost every major health condition and illness, including cancer and diabetes. Integrating fitness into your lifestyle can slow most of the negative effects of ageing processes, including slowing of metabolism, weakening of the bones and hormonal changes, especially for women.

WHAT IS FITNESS?

We believe that challenging yourself and setting yourself fitness goals and targets is a great way to keep you motivated. Passion and dedication is required to stick to any fitness regimen in order to see results. As with nutrition, we believe in balance and consistency. We believe that being committed to a healthy and fit lifestyle doesn’t involve living and breathing macros, bench or squat PB's or spending endless amounts of hours in the gym, if it isn’t 'your thing'. Fitness is more about moderation, not about restrictive diets and strict training regimens.

For Michail, training is not just a way to stay in shape, it should build a good base to improve the way we live, tackle health issues and prepare and enable us to do everyday tasks as well as enjoy other activities.  The beauty in fitness is that you get to choose your own adventures; from getting ready for a charity run, through dropping a dress size to stepping on a modelling stage. He loves to see his clients achieve their personal health and fitness goals.

IZABELA SZYMANSKA

Co-founder and online Coach for MiFitness.

Izabela started her fitness journey in 2013. She stepped onto the fitness modelling stage for the first time in October 2014 at the Miami Pro competition where she took two 3rd-place medals, as a bikini model and as a fitness model. Since then Izabela joined UKBFF Federation and competed in nearly 10 shows including Amateur Olympia in 2015 and British Championships in 2015 and 2016.

Since meeting Izzy, I now can say I honestly enjoy training in the gym. In the beginning I always did Izzy’s classes they were so motivational. Izzy is supportive and at the same time kicks your butt in the classes so I knew that as a PT she would be awesome. I signed up for some 1 on 1 PT classes and Izzy gave me a complete weeks training program. She even offers online coaching for people who can’t see her every week. Izzy worked with me to put together a nutrition plan that was easy to follow and understand. I can testify that it worked. Initially the scales don’t always go down as you start building lean muscle but Izzy makes you take weekly measurements and photos and send them to her, although I didn’t always want to be snapped in my underwear the measurements show that the plan is working. Her approach helped me build lean muscle, lose fat and achieve my goals of looking and feeling amazing in a bikini. Not only do you get your training plan and nutrition but you get moral support during the emotional highs and lows.
